Growing Pains

There is a particular kind of ache that comes with growth. The letting go, the bending, the surrender that feels like breaking before it feels like freedom. Growing Pains sits in that moment. A figure folded into itself, not in defeat, but in devotion.Bowing low against the dark, rooted in something rough and ancient beneath it, the body becomes a prayer.

This piece was born out of the tension between who we are and who God is calling us to become. Growth is rarely graceful. But it is always worth it.
