My name is Lauren. I started drawing at two or three years old. What starts out as a simple  childhood activity, soon revealed a gift that had been given to me. 

I didn't go to art school or follow a traditional path. I just kept creating. There has always been a deep knowing inside me this is a part of what I was created to do. Over the years that grew into a practice that moves across oil, watercolour, acrylic, charcoal, and mixed media. 

There is a spiritual thread that runs through everything I create. I contain a deep fascination with the human form, rooted in the belief that we are all made in God's image. I like to combine realism with abstract, physical forms blurred with the emotions of spiritual truths that are felt in the soul before they are seen in the world. 

My hope is that my work makes you feel something. Not a specific something, just that quiet shift that happens when a piece of art reaches you somewhere words can't. 

Using the gift He gave me to glorify Him.
