Even There is the most vulnerable piece in the In the Valley collection. A figure completely laid down, folded into the floor, with nothing left to hold back. And yet the light breaks through behind her anyway. Uninvited, unhurried, present.

This piece was made in a season of real darkness. It is honest in the way that only exhaustion allows.
