Hannah had deep faith and was persistent in prayer.

She wept. She bargained. She made a vow in the depths of her longing and refused to let go. Her lips moved, no sound came and still she persisted. Year after year, faithful in her grief, relentless in her hope.

What she carried in her body was an absence. What she carried in her spirit was unshakeable.
